The cartridge houses granular activated carbon which effectively reduces taste and odour in water, making it more enjoyable to drink.
The cartridge is incredibly easy to fit and will last approximately 6 months before needing to be replaced. We even have a helpful email reminder and reorder service you can subscribe to so that your replacement cartridge will always be with you for when it is needed.

One problem I did encounter was that the dispenser dripped about a tablespoon full after each use. This continued for about 3 days and then stopped. I don't think it was grit that was caught up, but I can't find any other explanation. Anyway, it's all working great now.
