The cartridge houses granular activated carbon which effectively reduces taste and odour in water, making it more enjoyable to drink.
The cartridge is incredibly easy to fit and will last approximately 6 months before needing to be replaced. We even have a helpful email reminder and reorder service you can subscribe to so that your replacement cartridge will always be with you for when it is needed.

but I managed to install it at the back of the fridge.
Works fine.
I have to admit that I find push fit fiddly to disconnect whereas compression fittings are easier, especially after the initial installation.
I have the filter sitting on a work top by the side of a Beer Fridge so didn't need the brackets or tie wraps; however for the price these are an unexpected addition, ideal where you may want to fit inside a cupboard or back of the fridge.
