The cartridge houses granular activated carbon which effectively reduces taste and odour in water, making it more enjoyable to drink.
The cartridge is incredibly easy to fit and will last approximately 6 months before needing to be replaced. We even have a helpful email reminder and reorder service you can subscribe to so that your replacement cartridge will always be with you for when it is needed.

The fittings are slightly different, but all the bits necessary are supplied, as is a good easy to follow instruction guide. Won't take long to swap at all.
One tip is definitely flush filter first before connecting to fridge, all as per instruction sheet, because of the black water as filter first primes which comes out. It was about a pint before perfectly clear, but wouldn't of wanted it running through the fridge.
Would buy again as good alternative to original and a lot cheaper, and swapping over will be even easier as ready using the new fittings.
