The cartridge houses granular activated carbon which effectively reduces taste and odour in water, making it more enjoyable to drink.
The cartridge is incredibly easy to fit and will last approximately 6 months before needing to be replaced. We even have a helpful email reminder and reorder service you can subscribe to so that your replacement cartridge will always be with you for when it is needed.

Shame you do not offer Brita compatible filters.. Big Market...
- the filters arrived within a couple of days/nicely packaged.
- our first purchase was for the sub-£10 filters and these ones at £13.85 are larger in size than sub-£10 ones (and larger than the original sumsung filter.) Still fits behind the fridge pushing is slighty away from the wall.
- after the initial shock of black water to clear the filter (within the instructions) we've found the drinking water to taste nicer than the previous filters and the water flow rate to be a tad quicker.
We are very happy with these filters- better than the sub-£10 ones.
